Hugh Keeble – Founder and Joint Managing Director

Hugh Keeble was Director of the The Which Computer? Show and head of the Computer Division at Reed Exhibitions before moving on to found Interactive Information Services (IIS), the organisers of the Softworld events. Softworld became one of the most recognisable IT event brands in the UK and the USA, renowned for their visitor friendly focus. It was bought by Imark Communications in October 1998. Hugh and his partner Mark Steel went on to launch Imago Communications in January 2001 and MyBusiness.Net in January 2002.

Mark SteelMark Steel – Founder and Joint Managing Director

Mark Steel was Director of the Communications Division at Reed Exhibitions before leaving in 1990 to become the co-founder of Interactive Information Services with Hugh Keeble. Following the sale of Imark Communications in 1998, Mark and Hugh founded Imago Communications in 2001 and MyBusiness.Net in January 2002.

Adam MalikAdam Malik – Commercial Director

Adam Malik started his career in events at Interactive Information Services in 1995 as a Sales Executive, progressing to Market Manager with responsibility for events and products in the CRM and Knowledge Management sectors. In 1998 he joined Business Intelligence as Exhibition Director to launch the CRM’99 event in the UK, a joint venture with a US trade show organiser. From 2001-2004, Adam was employed by Reed Exhibitions as Global e-Business Manager where he was responsible for the global rollout of the corporate Internet platform, developing standards, as well as driving compliance, revenue generation and customer interaction with Reed’s many event websites. He left to join The George P Johnson Company where he was involved in securing and delivering the inaugural Orange Code Camp in France, before being tempted back to work with Hugh and Mark at Imago.

Piers Bearne - Editorial Director, Wireless Group

Piers Bearne is the founder of Imago Group's subsidiary Rock Media, and currently acts as Imago's Editorial Director. Rock Media, which was acquired by Imago Group in 2006, produces specialist events in the wireless and mobile broadband, including The Wireless Event.

Piers began his career at Terrapinn, where he produced conferences and led businesses in the telecoms, finance, transport and energy sectors. He was Terrapinn’s European MD from 1999 to 2002, taking the business from loss to record profit and driving through its conversion from producing a large number of small conferences to a smaller number of highly profitable large scale conferences. Piers launched Rock Media in 2002.
